The activity of breaking and entering another person’s house or abode with the intention of committing a felony or a crime is what we call as “burglary”. However, breaking and entering is just the first part of the offense as more often than not, it leads to another more serious crime or crimes.
The most often reason why someone would break in and enter your without permission or forcibly is to steal something from you. They usually target your money, jewellery or gadgets. On the other hand, rape or sexual assault is another crime associated with burglary and females are usually the victims. Therefore, home security should be your main concern and you need to do everything that will make your home burglar-proof.
